Aren't you tired...In her dreams she rips apart her best friends. Then screams in the middle of the night when she can't take it anymore. In the morning she wakes to sweat covered sheets. Then showers to erase the horrors, but they never really go away. In the afternoon she daydreams disturbing dreams. Then tries to clear her head by writing silly words without meaning. In the twilight she stares at the stars. Then cries to herself because she'll never touch those sparkling lights. In her dreams she escapes reality. Then realizes she won't find peace in the dreams of a tainted mind. Aren't you tired...

Dark CyanYour words are like tiny sharks nibbling at my toes and peeling away the nail polish that was oh so carefully painted to cover the cracked and yellowed nails that mirror my heart. Your touch is like a thousand baby sting rays caressing my skin, forcing me to sit and wait for the burn of the puncture that you promised would come much too soon. Your heartbeat is like the crashing of the waves, pushing me under until I tumble helplessly in their perpetual pounding against the shores of my slowly eroding soul.
The ocean makes my nose run salty (but not sweet), makes my eyes turn fiery red and my throat scream like Ariel a Dark Cyan

wishes are a lot like regrets.i say a lot of things that maybe i don’t mean so while we were sleeping in glass covered streets. i was talking about being a lot like twenty four hours that are disappearing. like i could make something pretty or poetic out of the fact that i’m a complete waste of your time.
we were leaning against the curb trying not to cut our skin on the sharp pieces of our shattered reality as i said that we can’t age backwards and this is as young as we’re going to get and that you should just pretend i never happened. pretend i don’t exist because i can’t say what i should to you. i can’t say the words to wishes are a lot like regrets.

we've always been on different planets and it's never caused me grief, but now you're halfway around the world and i wonder if i even cross your mind.  i like to believe that you think of me, not often, but occasionally, for that would keep both of us out of danger and me in a mood somewhere between "not-quite-jolly" and "incandescent."  a wide margin, i know.
and now, i must ask -- does my visage bring pleasure to you?  sometimes i think that it does, but if my memory makes you revile, i should hope you do not think of me at all.  it is far more important that you quintessence

So I never post journals because I rarely have anything important to say, but I have been getting tired of having a blank journal. Soooo.... I've decided to post songs that I currently love
